Shipping, Returns & Warranty Policy
1. Shipping Policy
Fab&Made coordinates shipping for all customers within the continental United States and Canada. For international
orders, we are happy to assist in coordinating logistics between the customer and a third-party international freight
carrier. However, Fab&Made is not responsible for the execution of international delivery.
1.1 Shipping Costs
Shipping costs vary by order and are handled on a case-by-case basis. Final shipping arrangements and associated
costs will be confirmed during the purchasing process.
1.2 Shipping Method
Most furniture is shipped in a custom, purpose-built wooden crate to ensure safe and secure delivery. Smaller items may
be shipped via UPS, FedEx, or a similar courier service, depending on item size and destination.
1.3 Lead Times and Transit
Production lead times depend on product specifications, material availability, and order volume. Transit times vary
based on the final delivery location and the selected shipping provider.
Fab&Made is not responsible for delays, damages, or disruptions that occur after an item leaves our facility. Transit
timelines are managed by third-party carriers and are outside of our jurisdiction.
1.4 Transit-Related Damage
Fab&Made takes great care in packaging all shipments. However, minor wear or blemishes may reasonably occur
during transit and are not considered defects. If your item arrives with significant or structural damage, please document the issue with photographs and notify us
within 48 hours of receipt. We will review the issue and determine an appropriate resolution at our discretion.
2. Return and Cancellation Policy
2.1 Final Sale
We truly value our customers and aim to build lasting relationships rooted in trust and collaboration. Because each piece
is made to order, we are unable to accept returns, exchanges, or cancellations once an order has been placed.
That said, if something isn't right, please don't hesitate to reach out. While all sales are final, we're committed to taking
reasonable steps to address concerns whenever possible. Every situation is unique, and we'll do our best to work with
you toward a thoughtful resolution.
2.2 Non-Refundable Payments
Deposits and progress payments are non-refundable once production has commenced.
2.3 Schedule Expectations
We make every effort to align with your project timelines. However, lead times may shift based on design complexity,
raw material availability, and current production volume. Please confirm the expected delivery schedule with your sales
representative prior to placing your order.
3. Warranty and Product Care
Fab&Made warrants its products to be free from defects in materials and workmanship at the time of delivery. In the rare
event of an issue, please contact your sales representative to initiate a resolution. Fab&Made will evaluate each
situation and determine a fair and reasonable path forward.3.1 Handcrafted Nature & Variations
All of our pieces are handcrafted using solid American hardwood. Natural variations in tone, grain, and texture are
expected and embraced. These differences are a testament to the authenticity and individuality of each item and are not
considered defects.
3.2 Wood Movement
All of our wood undergoes a careful air- and kiln-drying process. However, wood remains a natural material and will
continue to respond to environmental factors such as humidity, temperature, and light.
Minor movement, shrinkage, or expansion due to these factors is not considered a defect, and Fab&Made cannot be held liable for such changes.
3.3 Product Care
Each order includes general care instructions. Following these guidelines is essential to preserving the longevity and
beauty of your furniture. Failure to properly care for your item may affect future service or warranty support.
4. Wood, Natural Tones & Appearance
Fab&Made makes every effort to represent our products as accurately as possible. However, natural variations in color,
grain pattern, and surface texture are inherent to hardwood furniture and part of what makes each piece unique. These characteristics are not considered flaws.
Additionally, color may appear differently on digital screens due to varying device settings and display technology.
By placing an order, the customer acknowledges and accepts that minor differences in tone, grain, and finish are to be
expected, and cannot be used as grounds for dispute, return, or refund once the product has been delivered.
